Mr. Harley H. Chambers, 80 of Austell passed awayTuesday, November 27, 2012. Harley was a member of First Baptist Church of Austell, Navy Veteran, Graduated from Georgia State University with a masters degree in mathematics in 1960. He retired from Unisys in 1988 as a Computer Specialist. Harley was an avid golfer and member of Dogwood Country Club from 1968-1988. He is survived by his Wife of 54 years, Deanie Chambers; Son and Daughter-in-law, Chris & Melody Chambers of Bremen; Daughter and Son-in-law, Shanon & Scott Smith of Norcross; Grandchildren, Nicolas Chambers, Lea Smith and Jake Smith; Brother and Sister-in-law, Bobby & Jean Chambers of Florida; Sister and Brother-in-law, Imogene & Jimmy Cook of Cumming. Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:00 AM, First Baptist Church of Austell, Chapel. Rev. Johnny Foster and Dr. Ken Ellison officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday 4-8 pm at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice, 5990 Love St., Austell, Ga 30168 or First Baptist Church of Austell Bereavement Committee. Arrangements entrusted to Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory, Austell.
