Harlan Dean Lubbers' Obituary
Harlan Dean Lubbers, age 82, of Marietta passed away July 21, 2016. He served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1958 and was a member of Milford Baptist Church. Mr. Lubbers retired from the State of Florida where he worked as an insurance examiner for the Commissioner’s Office. He is survived by his ex-wife, Carole Lubbers of Marietta; sons and daughter-in-law, David and Alicia Lubbers of Kennesaw and Kevin Lubbers of Marietta; grandchildren, Rachel and husband Brandon Denmark, Daniel Lubbers and Andrew Lubbers, all of Kennesaw; great-granddaughter, Kyrie Elise Riggs; brother, Myron Lubbers of Edmond, OK; sisters, Phyllis Leckey of Fredonia, KS, and Carol Winterbank of Crowley, TX. A graveside service will be held Friday, 12:30 PM at Georgia National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Mission Care at the First Baptist Church of Atlanta.
