Gwin Brewton's Obituary
Gwin Brewton, age 88, of Atlanta passed away June 2, 2017. Gwin graduated from Georgia State University and retired from the State of Georgia Retirement System in 1997. He was a long-time member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. He was part of the building committee for the educational building at the church and was a past Sunday school superintendent. Gwin loved gardening, playing in the dirt, and hunting. He traveled a lot and reached his goal of visiting every state.
Gwin is survived by his wife, Charlene Brewton and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held Monday 2:00 PM at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chris Noggle officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. 561 Veterans Memorial Hwy SE, Mableton, GA 30126
