First of all, our thoughts and prayers go out for Mrs. Mary, Penny and Pete for the loss of Brother Grover. We know that God's all sufficient grace will help you through these times of sorrow and heartache.
Grover will be missed. To know Grover was to love him. It was always a joy to spend time with him. His door was always open to guests. We enjoyed his sense of humor and upbeat attitude. He was always a very gracious and generous man. You could see his caring and compassionate attitude by the way he cared about people and what they were going through and how he could help. He put God and family first. His care for his mother and sister, at personal sacrifice to himself, showed his integrity and devotion. He always took care of and spoke in loving terms about Penny. You knew she had her Papa wrapped around her fingers, but he loved to be there for her. He always loved and appreciated all the help he got from Mrs. Mary. His selfless and caring ways are a great example for all of his to follow. He loved his country and proudly served her in the Army. Alas, it will be another empty seat at his reunion with his Army friends, but he is in a better place. We praise God that brother Grover is in the presence of His Lord. All his ailments are a thing of the past. We will bury his body in the ground, but his memory will always be in our hearts.
We love you, Papa Gibson, thanks for being part of our lives!
