Gloria Mae "Polly" Laster's Obituary
Mrs. Gloria Mae "Polly" Laster, 79 of Dallas passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Polly retired from Cobb County Government in 1993 and was a member of Canaan Fellowship Baptist Church in Mableton.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John T. Laster, Jr.; Daughters, Wyleen Thomas of Cartersville; Annette L. Smith of Eatonton, Cheryl L. Turner of Kennesaw; Sons-in-law, Gene Smith of Eatonton; Tommy Turner of Kennesaw; Grandchildren, Mickey Dunn of Kennesaw, John Rowell of Acworth, William "Bill" Rowell of Eatonton, James "Jimbo" Dunn of Dallas, Melissa Turner of Cartersville, Dana Gossett of Cartersville, Marcella Turner of Kennesaw; Great Grandchildren, Tyler Rowell of Acworth, Dakota Bailey of Dallas, Cloey Bailey of Dallas, Matthew Turner of Cartersville, Benjamin Turner of Cartersville, Preslee Gossett of Cartersville, Peyton Gossett of Cartersville; Sister-in-law, Dorothy Chapman of Rocky Face; Several Nieces & Nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:30 AM, Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
