Gloria Sanders James' Obituary
Gloria Sanders James, age 77, of Powder Springs passed away July 9, 2016. She was a well-known Bible teacher for over 45 years and taught at numerous churches in the Cobb County area. She also spoke as a key note speaker at many women’s conferences, including conferences in South Africa and Ukraine. Gloria also trained many people in the Precept Ministries. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.D. “Mickey” James. Surviving are her beloved daughters, Connie Prince of Powder Springs, Lisa (Frank) Goss of Morehead, KY, and Faith James of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Ruth A. Bowes, David J. Prince, Daniel S. Prince, Candace E. Prince, Caleb A. Goss, Katie S. Tackett, Emily S. Swymn, Ethan J. Goss, Lindsay Goss, and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty June Wallace and Mary E. Palmer; and brothers, Lanier (Nina) Sanders and Douglas (Carol) Sanders. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Powder Springs with Rev. Mike Woods and Rev. Alan Davis officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home in Austell. Interment will follow the service at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Precept Ministries, P.O.
