Gloria Hilderbrand's Obituary
Gloria Hilderbrand, age 85 of Powder Springs passed away September 15, 2024.
Gloria was born to Tom and Benell Williams in Newnan, Georgia. She was in the first graduating class of South Cobb High School in 1956.
Gloria had a passion for primitive antiques, especially quilts, pottery, and furniture. In 2007, Gloria co-founded the Southern Quilt Trail in Powder Springs, Georgia, which focused on preserving history and bringing charm to small towns across the State of Georgia. Gloria was also the co-owner of the local landmark Country Store of Seven Springs until its closing in July of 2012.
Gloria was preceded in death by her father and mother, Tom and Benell Williams; and her grandson, Bradley Hilderbrand.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, William Perry Hilderbrand, Sr.; sons, PerryHilderbrand (Connie), Barry Hilderbrand (Pam), and Jon Hilderbrand (Sheila); sister, Janice Johnson (Ronnie); 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Service honoring Gloria's life will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 4:00 PM at the chapel at New Georgia Baptist Church with Dr. Keith Stell officiating.
