Carol and David, I have so many wonderful memories of your mom. Growing up she was someone I looked up and who had a great influence on my life. Thank you for sharing her with us for so many years. May God comfort your heart at this time and in the days to come. I can only imagine as the song says what a glorious homegoing it was when she reached heaven. I remember her teaching at harmony she was a very sweet lady.....
She was such a kind and hospitable woman. One furlough in particular we were reeling from bad news and I will never forget her love and kindness during the dark days...and the candy bars for the kids always in the cupboard.

Sorry for your loss. I saw Mrs. Baxter's obituary on Mary Cox's facebook page. The 'Baxter' name got my attention. It has been 'just a few years' since David & Ann were in Augusta, GA, and Curtis Baptist Church. :-) Praying for you all.

Gloria was a friend and mentor. She was a great example for pastors wives. She was an amazing Godly woman. I had the privilege to present her with the Trudy Price Award for an outstanding pastors wife. She was the first recipient of this award. Thankful for the celebration in heaven!
