George Milton Scroggs Jr. age 81 of Douglasville passed away August 24, 2016. George was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jimmy Evans of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Starr Scroggs of Douglasville; sister, Wilma Propes of Oakwood; brother, James Scroggs of Oakwood; sister, Carol Jones of Oakwood; sister, Marian “Sis” Scroggs of Gainesville; brother, David Scroggs of Gainesville; brother, Danny Scroggs of Gainsville; sister, Jan Piper of Gainesville. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Heather (Justin) Evans Isbill; Josh (Felecia) Evans; Sara Scroggs; Emily Scroggs; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Hunter.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 1:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Whipple officiating. Interment will follow the service at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00PM-8:00PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
