Geneva Walters' Obituary
Geneva Walters, age 90 of Lithia Springs passed away March 14, 2024.
Geneva was born in Del Rio, Tennessee to John and Hulda Greene. She was one of twelve children.
She retired from both Cobb General Hospital after 27 years and Griffin Middle School after 16 years, working in food service.
Geneva was an avid square dancer for over 40 years. She was a member of the Danc’n Singles for 22 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John, and Hulda Greene; all siblings; husband, Charles Walters; daughter-in-law, Lisa Walters; grandson, Jeremy Woods.
Geneva is survived by her daughter, Sonja Woods of Mableton; son, Craig Walters of Paulding County; grandchildren, Ava and Josh Taylor; Chandler Walters; Myron and Wendy Woods; great-grandchildren, Aiden Woods and Paisley Taylor
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 1:00PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mableton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service Saturday from 12:00PM-1:00PM.
