Fulmer Ronald "Ronnie" Mathis' Obituary
Mathis, Fulmer Ronald “Ronnie” age 66, of Marietta passed away August 12, 2015. He served in the United States Navy in Vietnam and retired after 38 years as a firefighter and serving 28 years at The Smyrna Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda Ann Mathis; son, Jeff Mathis Murray of Alaska; daughter, Shannon Mathis of Marietta; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Jason Aldous of Woodstock; son, Russell Mathis of Marietta; grandchildren, Derek, Caelin and Jolie Murray, and Kenyaria Nutt; brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Jerri Mathis of Cedartown; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Mary Mathis of Macon. He is also survived by his dog, Rocky and grand-dogs, Buddy, Presley and Mo.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 2:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Chapel with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00PM- 4:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home.
