Frederick L. Thompson's Obituary
Mr. Frederick Lee "Pappy" Thompson, 80 of Hiram died Sunday, August 1, 2010. Mr. Thompson retired after 20 years from the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Barbara "Bobbie" Lankford Thompson; Daughter, Sherry Thompson Maner of Powder Springs; Sons, Frederick Jay Thompson of Hiram and Todd Stuart Thompson of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Jason & Karen, Jacob & Daniel; Great Grandchildren, Matthew, Jonah and Caiden; Brothers, Bill Thompson, Don Thompson and Orval Thompson all of CA. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 11:00 am at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel. Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Military Honors will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery,Canton at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
