Fred Brantley 's Obituary
Fred Brantley age 82, of Smyrna passed away May 24, 2014. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War. Fred retired from PBS Chemical Company in 1997 as an operation manager. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Brantley; son, Michael Fred Brantley; grandson, Justin Brantley and brother, Hosea Bess. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Dempsey Brantley; Daughters and Son-in-law, Deborah Delain of Sumter, South Carolina, Lawanna and David Crile of Cedartown, Lisa Brantley of Cleveland; Also surviving are eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara and Ken Belflower and Jenell Hicks. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 12:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 4:00-8:00 PM and Tuesday 11:00-12:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home. www.davisstruempf.com
