Franklin Wyatt's Obituary
Franklin Wyatt, age 83, of Powder Springs passed away Monday, November 7, 2016. Franklin was a native of Cobb County. He graduated from Austell High School in 1950 and Southern College of Pharmacy (now Mercer University) in 1954. He retired as the owner of Wyatt Pharmacy in Lithia Springs and previously the owner of Mableton Pharmacy. He was a lifetime member of Austell First Baptist Church where he served as deacon, church treasurer, and Sunday school teacher. Franklin was also a member of Latham Lodge #12. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bettye Johnsa Wyatt; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Jennifer Wyatt of Powder Springs; daughter, Jane Harbin of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Haley Harbin, Gareth, Gawain, and Greyson Wyatt; cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins; and sister-in-laws, Frances Moreland and Barbara Johnsa, both of Austell. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Ridgway and Rev. Johnny Foster officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment to follow the funeral services at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Austell First Baptist Church, 5991 Love St., Austell, GA, 30168, or the charity of your choice.
