Frank Harris' Obituary
Frank Harris, age 83, of Dallas and formerly of Smyrna and Ellijay, passed away May 28, 2021. Frank was born to A.L. Harris and Vera Ostelle Harris (nee Smitherman) in Wattsville, Alabama. He was a long-time resident of both Smyrna and Ellijay. Frank worked at multiple package stores in the area over the years, but spent a majority of his working years managing a package store on Northside Drive. He loved talking to the people that came into his store, and met everyone from governors to celebrities. Frank was a huge fan of NASCAR and enjoyed attending races and collecting memorabilia.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Diane Harris (nee Hobson); parents; and three siblings, Louise, Cecil, and Billy.
He is survived by his siblings, Virginia Coker of Dallas, Richard (wife, Karen) Harris of Roswell, Gene (wife, JoAnn) Harris of Hiram, and Randy (wife, Floy) Harris of Douglasville.
Private family services to be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to East-West Church, 1521 Hurt Rd SW, Marietta, GA 30008.
