Frances Yeager Keener, age 102 of Powder Springs passed away December 16, 2021.
Frances was born to Max and Sadie Yeager on December 5, 1919 in Grenada, MS
She was preceded in death by her parents Max and Sadie Yeager; her husband Charles M Keener, Jr; her children Barry, Barbara, and Mary; her brothers Pete, William, and Lewis; her sisters Kathleen and Winnie. She was survived by her son Charles; grandchildren Andy, Vanessa, Beth, Blake; her great-grandchildren Ashley, Christine, Kim, Michaela, A.J., Zach, Michael, Brandon, Austin, Annalee, and Luke; her great-great-grandchildren Abigail, Brianna, Zayden, and Mackenzie.
Frances loved God earnestly, studied his word, and faithfully prayed for everyone. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Powder Springs for many years where she was a Sunday school teacher, until the day of her passing. She was a woman of strong faith and could quote most scriptures in the Bible. She loved telling people about Jesus and inviting them to Church.
Frances loved spending time with her family and friends. She always tried to be outdoors as much as possible whether gardening, cutting grass, spoiling the animals, or just admiring God’s creation.
