Dear Family,
I was sorry to learn of the death of your valued family member. Our family also lost one who was dearly loved. It is during such times that we derive a measure of comfort from others who wish to ease our pain in some small way. God's Word provides comfort in a way that no other words can. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) Jesus stated at John 5:28,29 that there is going to be a resurrection of those sleeping in death. He knows the pain of grief because he lost his friend, Lazarus in death. (John 11:35) This brought him to tears even though he knew that he had the power to bring him back to life again. (John 11:43,44) The early Christians also held out hope of a resurrection as stated by the apostle Paul at Acts 24:15. One day in the near future such pain as we experience will be a thing of the past as Revelation 21:3,4 lets us know. I sincerely hope that this condolence will bring your family a measure of peace and hope.##imported-begin##Jimmie Ferguson##imported-end##
