Faye Roberts Rogers' Obituary
Faye Roberts Rogers, 88, long time resident of Cobb County, died Saturday, January 2, 2016. Faye, born in Thomas County, Georgia moved to Atlanta and worked in several financial positions including the Cobb County Board of Education at Campbell High School for over 20 years. Faye was predeceased by her parents, Leonard Roberts and Mattie Lou Dennis Roberts; son-in-law, Dr. Michael Reese.
The Rogers were long time members of West End Baptist Church in Atlanta until their move to Austell when they joined and became active members at First Baptist Austell.
Faye is survived by her husband of 68 years, Dan F. Rogers of Marietta; three daughters and their families: Frank and Jane Rogers Ramsdell, Karen Ramsdell Cole, Robbie, Nicole and Ryder Ramsdell; Tommy and Suzanne Rogers Webb, Adam and Karlie Webb, Justin and Nicole Webb, and Rachel Webb; Linda Rogers Reese, Chelsea Reese, and Walker Reese; sister, Judy Nolen; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday January 5, 2016 at Davis Struempf Chapel with Dr. Ken Ellison officiating, and visitation prior to the service from 12:00 – 1:00PM. Family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00PM Monday, January 4, 2016 at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to The Salvation Army, www.savationarmyatlanta.org.
