Evelyn Marie Cole's Obituary
Evelyn Marie Cole, age 76 of Dallas, passed away on November 27, 2025.
Evelyn was a cherished member of the Mount Vernon Baptist Church. She was known for her warm spirit and her love for music, particularly gospel, which she enjoyed listening to throughout her life.
Evelyn dedicated many joyful hours to singing for her church congregation, sharing her voice and passion for faith with others. She also enjoyed watching television, where she found joy in her favorite shows.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Jimmy D. Cole; son, Phillip Bowen; daughter, Kim Cole; son, Scott Cole; and son, Kirk Cole.
Evelyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Crysty Cole of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Karen Cole of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Jake, Travis, Kory, Kira, Shandi, Phillip, Kelsey, and Cassidy; and many great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Jan Buckner, brother, Gene Head, and brother, Jimmy Head.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kent Cole officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Evelyn’s honor.
