SHEDD - Mr. Eugene Henry "Gene" Shedd, age 69, of Smyrna, passed away July 19, 2012. Mr. Shedd was a self-employed contractor. He was a member of the Toast Masters, Georgia Republican Party and The Tea Party and attended First Bap Read Obituary
My wife and I are so thankful to Gene, and to you Julie, for the encouragement you both offered us in our Sunday School class when we were struggling with our teenage daughter this past year. We are praying for you and your family.

Gene would alway joke with me about stopping in Georgia for lunch when we were go through to Mississippi. Told him I don't drive through Alanta anymore. We were able to do lunch in Missippiss a couple of year ago. Gene's family , Mike and Harry. In thinking of you , we are with loving thoughts and prayers. Gene was my ( Joan's ) next door neighbor in Lincoln Maine and also my and Bud's classmate. it was wonderful to see him last summer at our 50th class reunion. What wonderful memories we have of our last time together. we will cherish Gene's memory forever.
