Ernest "Biff" Phibbs' Obituary
Ernest E. Phibbs, Jr., age 59 of Dallas, passed away February 1, 2012. "Biff" was of the Catholic faith and employed with R. J. Michael's Contracting. He loved golfing and motorcycles and was able to get the Harley he always wanted. Biff was one of the funniest people you would ever meet. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Ellen Conway Phibbs; children, Heidi Carl of Michigan, Jason Phibbs of Ringold, Amy Voraphongphibul of Rockmart, Amanda Ketchem of Dalton, Justin Phibbs, Tyler Phibbs, and Jake Phibbs, all of Dallas; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; step-mother, Sue Claxton of Dunwoody; sister, Pam Roberts of Oxford; and niece Jenny Folkerts. Services will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 7:00 PM with Father John Conway officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4 - 8 PM. Arrangements are with Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory, Austell.
