Ernest Frederick Faass' Obituary
Ernest Frederick Faass, age 90, of Smyrna passed away March 1, 2021. Ernest was a proud United States Army veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a founding member and parishioner since 1961 of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Brookhaven.
Ernest was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Lou Faass; and son, Steven Faass. He is survived by his children, Michael (Kathy) Faass of Edgecomb, ME, Renee (Steve Bearl) Faass of Ladson, SC, Jeffrey Faass of Tampa, FL, Andrea (Russell) Lawrence of Smyrna, GA, and Nannette (Michael) May of Ardmore, OK; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 6th, 2:00 PM at North Atlanta Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ernest’s name be made to Stand Up to Cancer at https://standuptocancer.org/.
