Emory Crowder's Obituary
Mr. Emory Gene Crowder, age 82, of Powder Springs died Saturday. Mr. Crowder was a decorated WWII Veteran. He retired from Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Co. He was an ordained Baptist Deacon and was a member of Leland Masonic Lodge and Paulding County Shrine Club. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Michael Mann of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, David and Karen Crowder of Oxford; Five grandchildren, Melissa Maycumber, Kristin Rose, Megan Long, Jessica Kimberlin, and Coleman Crowder and four great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Crowder of Alpharetta; sisters, Jeanette Holland of Ft. Worth, TX and Helen Conley of Powder Springs and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Mike Woods, Dr. Charles L. Holland, and Rev. Louie Winstead.
