Elsie Winship Johnston's Obituary
Elsie Winship Johnston, age 92 of Atlanta passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013. She was born in Eagle Town, OK and was a Choctaw Native, The book "Choctaw Woman-Mela Comes Home" was written by her son about her life. She was member of Glenn Memorial Methodist Church, Elsie was a homemaker and worked at Rich's Department Store in the billing department for many years. . She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Johnston, son, Charlie Johnston, daughter, Dianne Koelemay and grandson, Richard A. Johnston. She is survived by her son, Richard Johnston; 4 grandchildren, Chuck, Kelly, Tad, Veronica & Jessica; 3 great grandchildren, Richard, Briana and Collin. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 1:00 pm, Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM
