Elizabeth Hall Jones Whitaker passed peacefully on July 23, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Whitaker II in 1997. She is survived by her son, Joseph C. Whitaker III (Alicia), daughter, Lynne Whitaker, daug Read Obituary
I never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Whitaker, however I have heard stories through Mary and my Jennifer for years. She was a fine, southern lady and I am sorry I didn't know her in her healthy years. Gary and I send our condolences to the family. May light perpetual shine on Elizabeth forever. Peace and comfort to all of you.
I have such fond memories of time spent with your mom over these past 30 years. She always had the brightest smile and warm southern charm about her. She liked the way I sing and wanted to hear me sing. It was an honor for me to sing for her when you lost your dad. I don't know how many times she thanked me for singing that day. I take with me memories of a fine southern lady who loved her family and friends will all of her heart. God bless you all in your loss. I hope that God brings you as little sorrow as possible to make room in your hearts for only cherished memories.
