Elizabeth Green's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Green, age 76, of Mableton passed away November 5, 2020. Liz was a Baptist by faith. She was a blessing to many in her family as she was always willing to lend a hand and she helped to nurse several sick family members over the years, including her Aunt Stella Cofer who took her in when both her parents passed at a young age.
She was a regular at Austell Senior Center where she participated in activities and games with her friends. Her favorite thing of all to do was to visit family near and far. She especially liked attending family gatherings and holiday dinners.
Liz was preceded in death by her Mother Ollie Jennings Green, Father Robert J. Green, Brother Gordon Green and sister-in-law Louise Green. She was also preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and many other Aunts and Uncles.
She is survived by nieces Elizabeth Galarza, and June-Marie Nunez and nephew Robert Green as well as numerous cousins.
It is the wish of Liz’s family that you honor Liz’s life in any way that moves your heart. She loved you all!
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 10th, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Community Bible Church Cemetery, Carrollton. The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
In keeping with current precautions due to COVID-19, we are requesting that anyone visiting wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
