Elizabeth Ann Brownlow's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Brownlow, 67, of Warrenton, VA died Monday, August 13, 2012 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville surrounded by her family. She was born August 26, 1944 in Acworth, GA to the late John A. and Wilma H. Shutley. In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her triplet great grandchildren; Maddie Darlene, Mary Elizabeth and Mickell Shane Hartley.
Ann was a devoted member of the Shenandoah Farms Baptist Church. In addition, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always gave unconditional love. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and especially delighted in watching her grandchildren and great-children. She enjoyed spending her spare time doing arts & crafts and playing the piano.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin Brownlow, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage this July 20th ; three children , Tammy Lee and husband Mickell of Beckville, TX, Christopher Brownlow of Winchester and James Brownlow and wife Elizabeth of Warrenton; sister, Willie Grace Holt of Marietta, GA; nine grandchildren, Laci Ann Hartley, Dylan Lee, Skylar, Calvin “C.J.”, Savannah, Christian, Colin, Austin and Katelyn Brownlow and Adelle Novak; great grandchildren Hunter and Heather Hartley and many extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM on Wed. August 15 at Moser Funeral Home.
A second visitation will be held at the Davis-Struempf Funeral Home in Austell, GA from 6-9 PM on Friday, August 17th, where a funeral service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, August 18th. Burial will follow in the Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ann’s name to the Feed the Children Foundation c/o Shenandoah Farms Baptist Church.
