Eleanor Wyatt's Obituary
Eleanor Wyatt, age 83 of Powder Springs passed away September 11, 2020.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Claude Wyatt; sister, Shirley Countryman and brother, Dave Wade.
She retired from Lockheed in Marietta after 42 years of service, ending her career as secretary to the President. Eleanor was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, Austell.
She is survived by her son, Michael Wyatt of Powder Springs; grandson, Christopher (Brittany) Wyatt of Austell; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Avery and Emery; sister, Jane (Gene) Thomas of Austell; brother, Larry (Carol) Wheeler of Niceville, FL. Eleanor is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Foster and Chuck Bannister officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00-7:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
In keeping with current precautions due to COVID-19, we are requesting that anyone visiting wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Eleanor’s name to The Salvation Army ARC Atlanta at 740 Marietta Street, Atlanta, GA 30318 or Samaritan's Purse at PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607-3000.
