Edward Lee Dobbs' Obituary
Edward Lee Dobbs, 72, of Marietta passed away Monday, August 11, 2014. Mr. Dobbs was formerly employed by Georgia Power. He loved to quail hunt. He was an awesome baseball player, at one point the Atlanta Crackers tried to draft him. He is survived by daughters Tina (Charley) Armstrong of Taylorsville, Julie Tarpley of Rockmart, and one son Doug (Heidi) Tarpley of Aragon, sisters Gail (Bill) Smith, and Peggy (Fred) Hines, 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 2 pm at Post Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Davis Struempf Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of arrangements.
