Edna E. Pritchett's Obituary
Edna Earl Hunter Pritchett of Winston passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 at WellStar Community Hospice in Austell. She was 73.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harlan Boyd and Pearl Hunter, two brothers, H.B. Hunter and Boyd Hunter, and one sister, Gwendolyn Hendrix.
She was born on December 30, 1935 and was a 1954 graduate of South Cobb High School, where she was a key player on the girl’s basketball team. After graduating she was recruited by the Tomboys, a amateur women’s basketball team.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Herschel F. Pritchett Sr., four children, Michael F. (Kathy) Pritchett of Temple, Judy Smith of Douglasville, Franklin Pritchett of Villa Rica, and Pam Thompson of Dallas, seven grandchildren, Bo Smith, Marcus Pritchett, Bradley Pritchett, Ashley Hembree, Trevor Thompson, Chelsea Thompson, and Halee Thompson, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Rev.
