Edith Yeager's Obituary
Mrs. Edith A. Yeager, age 81 of Smyrna passed away December 27, 2011 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease and a stroke. Edith was a founding member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She retired as administrative assistant with Pizza Hut. A doting mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her children, Phyllis Lothery of Liberty, SC, Pam Roper of Smyrna, and Cliff & Julie Yeager of Marietta; grandchildren Kristina Dunn, Clifton D. Yeager, III (Bo,) Elizabeth Yeager, Katherine Morgan, Lauren Lothery, and Lesley Lothery; great-grandchildren, Olivia Morgan, Calleigh Morgan, Grant Dunn, Clifton D. Yeager, IV (C.J.,) and Wyatt Anthony; sisters, Florence O'Rourke and Frances Messina; brother & sister-in-law, Fred & Bonnie Armour. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Larry Ritch officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park. Arrangements are with Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory in Austell.
