Earnest Doyle Strickland Sr.'s Obituary
Earnest Doyle Strickland, Sr. age 80 of Austell passed away March 12, 2017. Earnest retired from Grand Union Colonial Stores and A & P Corporation. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Earnest loved working with his hands in the yard and wood working.
He is survived by his son, Earnest Doyle Strickland Jr. and wife, Dale, of Dallas; daughter, Charlene Mealer and husband, Alan, of Dallas; sister, Carol Zavesky; grandchildren, Earnest Doyle (Annette) Strickland III; Alanna Michelle (Mike) Wicker; Matthew Dylan Strickland; Amber Lanae Mealer; 3 great-grandchildren, Eden, Aurora, and Mia.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 1:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service Wednesday from 11:00AM-1:00 PM.
