Douglas "Doug" Kleeger's Obituary
Douglas “Doug” Kleeger, age 66 of Powder Springs passed away November 23, 2023.
Doug was self-employed as a consultant for audio and visual services. He also worked as an engineer for churches and was a writer for sound and communication. Doug was invited as a guest speaker to lecture at Southern Polytechnic State University.
Some of his hobbies included working out, jogging, biking, shooting pool, watching movies, and working on his culinary skills. He even earned a black belt in karate and coached karate classes. Doug was deeply cherished by his children and he would always go out of his way to buy them the next best video game. His bond with his children was strengthened by playing the games together. He especially loved to watch his son Alex play basketball. He was a loving father and was adored by his family.
Doug is preceded in death by his grandparents, Emil and Belle, and Max and Lucy; parents, Roy and Sylvia. He is survived by his wife, Patience Kleeger; children, Kimberly, Michael, Alexander, Benjamin, and Christopher; sister, Debbie Kleeger; half-brothers, Justin and Jeffrey Kleeger; niece and nephew, Kathryn and David.
