Dorothy King Roberts' Obituary
Dorothy King Roberts, age 94, of Douglasville passed away March 12, 2015. Dorothy was a member of Bright Star Methodist Church and retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation in 1991. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Roberts, Sr., son, Floyd “Sonny” Roberts, Jr., brother, Edward King and sister, Joyce Lanier. Dorothy is survived by her grandchildren, Kelly Hallmark, Karla and Tommy Wheeler, Kristen and Matt Holloway; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brother, Rev. Doile and Libby King; sisters, Rachel Moss, Faye and Lee Pittman; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Thomas Shores officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
