Doris Ellis Wallace's Obituary
Mrs. Doris Ellis Wallace, age 91, of Lithia Springs went to be with her Lord on July 4, 2020. She was born in 1929 to Sim and Rosalee Ellis. Doris was a long-time member of Clarkdale First Baptist Church. She retired in 2005 from Lee Motors in Mableton, but had previously worked as an insurance agent for both Atlanta West Insurance and Alliance Insurance Companies. Most important to Doris was her faith and family. She was a devout Christian who looked forward to meeting her Lord and being reunited with her dear husband of 63 years, Harold Lamar Wallace.
Doris is survived by her son, Greg (Nancy) Wallace of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Scott (Shannon) Wallace of Dallas, and Amanda (Steven) Taff of Douglasville; four beloved great-grandchildren; and numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 6, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Powder Springs City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday at the funeral home from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
