Doris "Dot" Virginia Holbrook, age 92, of Mableton passed away March 22, 2019. Doris was a long-time member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Harold J. Holbrook;
She is survived by her children, Pat & Don Walden, Doyle & Debora Holbrook, and Lynn & Melanie Holbrook
Grandchildren: Tracy Holbrook, Scott & Brittany Holbrook, Ashley & Dean Hege, and Joey & Casey Holbrook
Great-Grandchildren: Jacob Alvarado, Annslee Alvarado, Madison Wilson, Cade Hege, Maverick Holbrook, Josiah Holbrook, Anna-Beth Holbrook, Addison Holbrook, and Asher Holbrook.
The family will receive friends at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church on Sunday, March 24, 2:00 PM with Dr. Randal Whitten officiating. Lie in State from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in the memory of Doris to the Mt. Harmony Baptist Church.
