Donald Ted Stilley's Obituary
Donald “Ted” Stilley, age 77, of Lithia Springs passed away December 2, 2021. Ted was born to Donald Paul and Iris Vivian Stilley in Jacksonville, FL. He spent his youth in Jacksonville and graduated from Englewood High School. After graduating, Ted joined the United States Marines and was stationed at Parris Island, SC. Ted was a long-time resident of Marietta, as well as the 25-year owner and operator of The Furniture Works in Atlanta. In his free time, Ted loved to spend time with his family, and dearly loved his grandchildren. He was an avid animal lover and had a heart for giving to people in need. Ted was an incredibly funny, kind, and generous man who will be truly missed. Ted is preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Skylar Stilley. He is survived by his beloved dog, Toby; children, Michele Arwood (husband, Bill) of Thomasville, Vivian Davis of Austell, and Stiles Stilley of Lithia Springs; sister, Donna Parra (husband, Gustavo) of Duluth; grandchildren, Harley, Hinson, Hunter, Aleksandra, Madeline, and Wesley; and great-grandchildren, Ricky and Cecil. Private family services to be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ted’s name be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/.
