Don Franklin Howard Sr. 's Obituary
Don Franklin Howard, Sr., age 85, of Mableton passed away November 25, 2017. Don served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict on the USS Midway. He retired from the Georgia Power Company in 1989 after 33 years of service. Don was a member of Mableton First Baptist Church. Preceding him in death is his wife of 46 years, Martha Moon Howard. He is survived by his sons, Don Howard, Jr. of Ormond Beach, FL., Scott & Lori Howard of Cartersville, Jeff Howard of Mableton; daughter, Jennifer & Gregory Townsend of Austell; and ten grandchildren, Schylar Howard, Wyndsor Howard, Hannah Howard, Meredith Howard, Madeline Howard, Kaitlyn Howard, Kassidy Howard, Kody Bryant, Janzen Bryant, and Kortney Bryant. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 28, 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Childers officiating. Interment will follow the service at Crest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
