Dianne Cole Crook Snellgrove's Obituary
Dianne Cole Crook Snellgrove, age 80 passed away on August 29, 2025. She was. born and raised in Austell. Dianne graduated from South Cobb High School in 1963, forming lifelong friendships and memories she cherished throughout her life.
A devoted mother, Dianne was incredibly proud of her two sons, Kelly and Kyle Crook, whom she raised with care, compassion, and unwavering support. Her family was the heart of her world.
Dianne spent most of her adult life working for Selig Chemical Company, where she was a dedicated and reliable presence.
Outside of work, Dianne was a talented and passionate artist. She found joy and expression through painting, arts and crafts, and ceramics—her creativity shining through in everything she touched. Whether creating something beautiful for her home or sharing her art with others, she found peace and purpose in her artistic pursuits.
Dianne will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her artistic soul, and the quiet grace with which she lived her life.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kyle Crook and husband, James Snellgrove.
Dianne is survived by her son, Kelly Crook; brother, Larry Cole; sister, Teresa Jewell; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Connor, Ryan, and Nolan; 1 great-grandchild on the way.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, 2:00 PM at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
