Denise Massey Hampton's Obituary
Denise Massey Hampton, age 52, of Douglasville passed away April 12, 2014. She was a member of Christ Freedom Church in Hiram and retired from Cobb County Board of Education as a bus driver. She enjoyed going to the beach, mountains and traveling in general. Family time was very important to her. Preceded in death by her Mother, Ann Massey and Mother-in-law, Edna Hampton. Denise is survived by her husband, James Hampton; son, Stephen King of Powder Springs; daughter, Kerri Wallace of Austell; grandchildren, Brianna King, John Wallace, Morgan VanAntwerp; great granddaughter, Sarenity Long; Father and Step- Mother, Jerry and Margie Massey of Powder Springs; Father-in-law, Lloyd Hampton of Douglasville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Kenny Hester of Powder Springs, Jerri and Doyle Mooney of Douglasville, Laura and Ken Moon of Temple; sister and brother-in-law, Celena and Timmy Ward of Gainesville, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Nicole Massey of Yorktown, VA; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 2:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Chapel with Rev. Ron Burgess officiating.The family will receive friends Monday from 1-8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
