Della Mae Tumey Conner's Obituary
Della Mae Tumey Conner, age 85 of Austell, passed away March 25, 2021. She was a charter member of Midway Christian Church in Austell. Della enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family and her beloved cat, Toby. She was a faithful member of Midway Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Bobby Eugene Conner; parents, Empress and T.L.; brothers, Bob and John; and sister, Irene. She is survived by her daughters, Beth Conner, Jennifer Conner-Barnett (JR), and Joanna Conner; brother, Luther Tumey; beloved cat, Toby; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Midway Christian Church with Pastor Richard Barr and Minister Steve Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Davis Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00-8:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home. In keeping with current precautions due to COVID-19, we are requesting that anyone visiting wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
