Debra Queen Gilham's Obituary
Debra Diane Queen Gilham, age 62, of Winston passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014. Debra graduated from South Cobb High School in 1970 and retired from Cobb County Board of Education as a bus driver. She was a member of Hiram First Baptist Church where she was involved with the jail ministry. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her church and family. She was preceded in death by her son, Robby Gilham in 1996.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Robert E. Gilham; daughter, Kimberly (Gerald) Swenson of Douglasville; sons, Jason (Joni) Gilham of Winston and Christopher (Jami) Gilham of Temple; her grandchildren, Kameron Swenson, Cloey Gilham, Ansley Gilham, Lucas Gilham, Hannah Swenson, Delayni Gilham and Eliah Gilham. Also surviving are her brother, Leonard Queen of Milledgeville and sisters, Frances Morgan of Douglasville, Juanita Wofford of Buford and Gail Jordan of Douglasville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 5th, 12:00 pm, at the Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Roy Barnes, Rev. Joe Holcomb and Deacon Tommy Bruce officiating. Interment will be at Mozley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lithia Springs.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 4th, from 4:00 pm, to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
