Debbie Ann Green's Obituary
Debbie Ann Green
67 Years Old, Marietta, Georgia
On February 11, 2025, the world lost an incredible woman, but Heaven gained an absolute legend. Mom left us peacefully, probably rolling her eyes at all the fuss we’re making over her.
She was a master of unconditional love and had a sixth sense for knowing when you were up to no good—no matter how sneaky you thought you were. She had a sharp wit, a heart of gold, and an uncanny ability to know when you needed a hug (or a reality check). She could fix anything with a little wisdom, a lot of humor, and just the right amount of guilt.
Mom is survived by her husband of 47 years Tony, and her kids Josh, Melissa, Jeff and John, and grandkids Samuel and Hannah, as well as many friends and family all of whom will now have to figure out how to make her famous Thanksgiving dressing without her supervision—and we all know it won’t taste the same.
Though she’s no longer with us in person, we know she’ll still be keeping tabs, making sure we eat enough, call when we get home, and stop worrying so much. In her honor, pour yourself a glass of sweet tea (extra Sweet & Low and Equal, of course), laugh until your stomach hurts, and love the people around you with the same fierce devotion she did.
Mom, we miss you already, but we know you’re somewhere cozy, watching over us, and shaking your head at our nonsense.
