Danielle Miata Lawson's Obituary
Danielle Miata Lawson was born on August 7th, 1995 in Brooklyn, New York to Nicole Abraham and Evroy Lawson. As their firstborn, Danielle continues to be cherished, beloved, and treasured. Danielle was baptized and welcomed into the Catholic faith, remaining persistent and passionate about her beliefs.
During her 6th grade year, Danielle relocated to Georgia and excelled in her studies – graduating from Hiram High School with honors. Because she was utterly unyielding and determined to achieve her goals, Danielle forfeited her summer break and enrolled at Georgia State University in the summer of 2013.
Danielle was a few months shy of graduating with her BSN to enter the nursing profession – however, Danielle’s desire was to continue her education in order to finally achieve her goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Danielle was amiable, benevolent, and magnanimous. It was evident her career aspiration would be to help others. She was committed to her studies and never faltered through obstacles, but continuously prevailed through them. She was never unwilling to help a friend with their coursework and wanted everyone surrounding her to succeed.
In her spare time, Danielle enjoyed coloring, drawing – which she was incredible at, listing to music by Mike Posner, Fifth Harmony, YNW Melly, Machel Montano, and Vybz Kartel, playing SIMS, and binge-watching her favorite television series such as Scrubs, Fraiser, and The Flash.
Danielle was a vibrant soul, full of bliss and jollity. She had a big beautiful smile – but her heart was bigger. She was invincible. She was the essence of beauty. Danielle will truly be missed. Life without her is unfathomable. But, rather than question God’s purpose for her – we must be grateful that we were blessed to have her in our lives to begin with.
So for that, we are thankful—and we thank her.
Thank you, Danielle, for being a devoted daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend.
Thank you, Danielle, for being altruistic and kind.
Thank you, Danielle, for being an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on.
Thank you, Danielle, for brightening our lives and forever leaving such an impact.
And thank you, Danielle, for allowing us to love you.
