Daniel Earl Jones' Obituary
Daniel Earl Jones was born in the Bronx, NY on July 6th. 1992, to Denise Lord Jennings and Phillip R. Jones Sr. He attended South Paulding High School, where he met his love and future wife, Jessenia Jones. “Daniel and Jess” were married on November 20th, 2015, in Douglasville Ga., and from their union was born Daniel’s pride and joy, Anthony Earl Jones and David Elijah Jones. Daniel was baptized at Atlanta West Pentecostal Church in Lithia Springs, where the family attended.
Daniel graduated from the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University in 2015 with a bachelor of business administration degree in Finance, and he was employed as a manager of shared services at Merchants Metals in Atlanta. Though education and employment were important to Daniel, nothing was more important to him than his role as dutiful husband, devoted father, and loving son and sibling.
He will be mourned by many, including his loving wife Jessenia, sons Anthony and David, parents Denise Jennings(Michael Jennings) and Phillip Jones Sr. (Alison Bush Jones), mother-in-law and father-in-law Nelson Colon and Rose Rodriguez, grandmother Itonia Lord, uncle Louis Lord (Nadra, Ellison) and siblings Phillip R. Jones Jr. (Monica Jones and Christopher), Jasmine Jones and Lleah Jones. Also left to mourn Daniel are his sisters-in-law Veronica, Crystal (Freddie, Emily, Elanise, Emil), Evy (Ava), Michelle (Raymond, Rayshawn) Natalie and Kayla, and a host of relatives and friends that he knew and loved.
Daniel’s smile lit up the room, and his insight and presence will be missed by us all. Daniel would be pleased to know that his family comforted each other during this trying time, and that those who loved him demonstrated that love by wrapping their arms around Jessenia, Anthony and David, not only on this day but in days to come.
“…hearts are mended, Grace extended, miracles are in this place…”
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, May 10th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
