Shane, April, Daniel, Jack,
I’m Connie’s childhood friend. We lived down the road from each other in Port Arthur.
We had lots of fun times, when Connie learned to drive we would go riding in her Dad’s old truck in the cow pasture. And laugh and laugh. As we got older we would make the drag. It seems every town had one.
I have never met all of her children but I feel as though I have. I have never met Jack, the love of her life, even though he helped me and Connie talk on the phone and I appreciate that so much. She loved him so much!
Connie and Jack had so much fun on their cruises and took plenty.
Well Connie till we meet again.
Your friend,
Jessie Vernon DuBois

Mom, you have always been a true hero. You always gave all you could to us and support us as best you could. You weren't close-minded and tried to see all around you. You took all you learned and passed it onto us. Thank you for all that you have done. Thank you for letting me be me and not trying to change who we were as people. I know you only ever wished us the best. I shall endeavor to follow that example as well as i can. Also, your cooking was the bestest ever. ^^
I love you, mom.. always. I am certain you'll watch over us still. I hope to have some fun and cool stories to share with you, when we meet again. I'll see your light everywhere i go in life. Thank you again.

I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Although it has been years that we lost touch of each other, she will always hold a place in my heart as a special friend.

I will cherish the memories of our friendship and support we shared going while she lived in Houston. We were so close that April was my flower girl in my wedding.

When she decided to move to Georgia, I felt I had lost a true friend. So when I had a chance, I visited her in Marietta and she was an awesome host. We kept in touch via the phone and I remember her telling she was beginning to have difficulty remembering things. She was very thankful to have Jack as her partner of support.

You had a wonderful kind mother and you ALL are a testament of her love. You now have her spirit to watch over you.

Connie, one day, we will see each other again.

Love you!
