Clyde Lamar Daniel's Obituary
Clyde Lamar Daniel, age 86, of Powder Springs, transitioned to his eternal home on May 19, 2026.
Born in Atlanta to Virgil and Roberta Daniel, Clyde lived a life marked by love, service, and passion.
Clyde was a proud member of the National Guard. He spent many cherished years as a devoted member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, where he found both community and the love of his life, Julie. Their 50 years of marriage were filled with laughter, warmth, and shared dreams.
His passions extended to the open road, where he relished the beauty of old cars and trucks. He also enjoyed gardening, where his green thumb flourished, and he took great pride in growing his own vegetables.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Julie, brothers Virlyn, Carl, and sister Virginia.
His memory will live on in the hearts of his son, Craig Daniel; daughter, Lanette Daniel; grandson, Cameron Stanga; and sister, Barbara Carlton (husband, Roy).
Funeral Services will be held Friday, 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brandon Newell officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt Harmony Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
