Claud Smith's Obituary
Mr. Claud R. Smith, age 89 of Powder Springs, formerly of Mableton, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009. Mr. Smith was a member and deacon of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. He retired as owner of Bankhead Radio and TV Service.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie Austin Smith;
Daughters and Sons-in-law, Kathie & Gary Mauldin of Dallas,
Debbie & Gene Fee of Augusta;
4 Grandchildren; 3 Great grandchildren;
Brothers, Alfred G. Smith of Greensboro, NC,
Hershel Smith of Dallas, and
Gene Smith of Aarojo.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at 2:30 PM at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church with Dr. Randal Whitten officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday 4 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
