Clarence Lowry's Obituary
Mr. Clarence N. Lowery, age 76 of Panama City Beach, passed away April 21, 2010 at his home. He was born in Atlanta and retired from Georgia Power after 30 years service. During his career at Georgia Power, he lived in Smyrna and Waynesboro, GA. Clarence served his country in the United States Navy and was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a deacon and member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Smyrna. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Petty Lowery of Panama City Beach; his daughters, Lea Meadows (& husband, Tony) of Suwanee and Joy Brindle of Jacksonville, AL; sister, Ernestine Collier of Jackson, GA; 3 grandchildren: Timothy Croft (& wife, Jessica)of Buford, GA and Corey & Chelsea Brindle of Jacksonville, AL; great granddaughter, Lyla Grace Croft of Buford; many greatly loved brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends. A gathering of friends and family will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Davis-Struempf Chapel.
