Clara Walker Belcher's Obituary
Clara Walker Belcher, age 100 of Austell passed away August 22, 2015. She was a lifelong member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She along with her husband Wade, owned and operated Belcher Feed and Grocery from 1950 – 1971. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wade P. Belcher; Parents, Joe and Cecelia Walker; Daughters Shirley Jane Belcher and Frances Weaver; and Son-in-law, Earl Lee. She is survived by her daughter Betty Lee Byrd of Douglasville; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at Davis- Struempf Chapel with Rev. Ken Hennesy and Rev. Clinton Carl Reed officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 3:00-8:00 PM.
